Family Energy Rebate

Applications for the 2016-2017 rebate period close at 11pm, Thursday 15 June 2017.

The Family Energy Rebate helps NSW family households with Family Energy Rebatedependent children to cover the costs of their energy bills.

The Family Energy Rebate provides eligible households a credit on an energy bill of $150, or $15 if the household also qualifies for the Low Income Household Rebate.

If you live in an on-supplied residential community, retirement village or strata scheme the rebate is $165, or $16.50 if the household also qualifies for the Low Income Household Rebate.

Note: If you have a Centrelink Concession Card or Health Care Card you may also qualify for the Low Income Household Rebate. To apply for the Low Income Household Rebate phone your electricity retailer and they will take your application over the phone.
